Beaux Arts Ball is happy to announce that we will award three $1,000 scholarships to UK College of Design students this year!

The scholarships will be granted to three students who will be pursuing internship/summer employment this summer in the design field in a city other than the one they are a permanent resident in. This allows students to economically get employment and cultural experience in a new region or city. Similar to a study abroad scholarship, these funds can go towards transportation or housing in the city of the student’s choice.
To apply, a student must meet this criteria:

be a full time student at UK in either architecture, interior design or historic preservation

be pursuing an internship or summer employment this summer in a city outside of where the student currently resides or has permanent residence

The application is simple:

Start with a cover page that includes the following:

-name
-address
-phone number and email address
-which discipline you are studying and what year you are currently

Write a one page, double spaced essay about where / how / why you would use the money. Panelists will be looking for creativity and uniqueness.
